Inspiration Monday

Yesterday I was in Bath, England and found myself wandering around the sites that Jane Austen frequented. (She lived in Bath from 1801 to 1806 and two of her books, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion have Bath as a primary location)

Naturally, my attention was drawn to this magnificent tree, which grew in the central square. According to our somewhat befuddled tour guide, the tree was planted in 1796, which means it was a sprout when Jane Austen was there. But I’m sure she loved it just the same, as did I.
